Police say one person is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday on Arthur Avenue.

Police say it happened at the corner of Arthur Avenue and East Fordham Road. They say a vehicle collided with a man who was crossing the street.

EMS arrived at the scene and say the man suffered from a broken leg and a separated shoulder.

The man is now being treated at St. Barnabas Hospital, according to police. They say the driver of the vehicle stopped and remained at the scene.

This case is still under investigation, according to police.
