Three men who broke into a 99 cent store by smashing its window, used stolen money at nearby deli to buy a bottle of water to clean of their bloody hands, according to police.
It happened at the 99 Cent Store Plus near Chatterton and Castle Hill Avenue around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the men smashed the window of the store, then removed the cash register from the business. They say one suspect injured his hand during the process, so he walked to a nearby deli and bought a bottle of water with the stolen money to clean off his bloody hands.
The men were caught on surveillance video outside the deli.
