Police need help identifying a man they say is behind a series of break-ins throughout Claremont Village.
Police say the suspect they are searching for is wanted for breaking into two vehicles over the summer.
The victim stole credit cards and a Canon camera.
News 12 is told the suspect recently entered a deli on Oct. 3 and snatched a wallet off the counter before leaving the store at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and East 169th street.
The NYPD has released surveillance video footage of the suspect who is seen dressed in a red hoodie as he approaches the parked cars.
Officials say two of the three connected larcenies happened in broad daylight. The first car break-in last July happened at 1 p.m. and the most recent deli incident happened at 10 a.m.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
