Police officers and senior citizens played dominoes together Thursday night to have fun and get to know each other.
Twenty officers and 20 seniors joined in the friendly competition while sharing stories about themselves and their neighborhood at La Casa Boricua Senior Center.
This is the second year for the event, and it’s just one of a variety of services seniors at the center get to take part in.
Organizers say they hope it brought the groups closer. The meet-up also gave the chance for officers to share safety tips.
