Police: Teen raped; attacker in custody
Police say a teenage girl was sexually assaulted and her alleged attacker is in custody.
Investigators say a 19-year-old was approached by the suspect near 201st Street and Perry Avenue just before 10 p.m. Sunday.
The attacker allegedly forced the victim at knife point into a Toyota sedan and drove her to Queens, where he sexually assaulted her, officials say.
Police say the suspect then drove the victim back to the location where he picked her up, and then raped her again.
The victim was able to give a thorough description of her attacker, which assisted authorities who caught him a short time later.
Police say the attacker is a 44-year-old resident of Queens, but they have not yet released his name.
