Police say a woman was fatally shot in her Bronx apartment this morning.
According to police, 28-year-old Shoshane Rattigan was shot inside her home at 1570 Bogart Ave. just before 4 a.m.

Police say they arrived on the scene and saw the young mother suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. They say her 6-year-old son was in the next room

EMS officials declared Rattigan dead on the scene.
Police say no arrests have been made yet, but they say a suspect in the case is Rattigan's boyfriend, who is also the father of Rattigan's son. Neighbors say they heard him arguing with the vicitm moments before the incident.
Neighbors say the boyfriend didn't live in the apartment, but was there often since Rattigan worked a lot, either in a hospital or a dentist's office.
Police haven't yet released the suspect's name or picture, but say he did drive off in a gray Honda Odyssey.
