Police say a woman robbed a 103-year-old woman Friday afternoon.

They say the suspect followed the victim into her building on Bellamy Loop.

Police say the woman then followed the victim to her floor and knocked her to the ground. The suspect allegedly stole the woman's purse and also removed the victim's shopping cart containing two meals from a community center.

News 12 is told the woman refused medical attention after EMS crews arrived to the scene of the robbery.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds.
