Police are searching for a woman who stole a purse containing a cellphone from a bar in Soundview.

Authorities say the suspect stole a woman’s purse at the El Chicanito sports bar on Evergreen Avenue on April 15.

Surveillance footage shows the woman last wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt that reads, “PINK” across the chest, blue jeans and multi-colored sneakers.
