The jackpot is already at the largest in U.S. history at $675 million.
It could swell to nearly $1 billion by the time of this weekend's drawing.
Pennsylvania has had 16 Powerball jackpot winners over the past 13 years, more than any other state.
The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 in 292,201,338, according to the Powerball website.
