Program teaches Bronx men to be better dads
Men in the Bronx are learning how to be better fathers to their children thanks to a free program.
The Visiting Nurse Service of New York's Bronx Fatherhood Program consists of bi-weekly programs and teaches fathers how to nurture and provide for the children, helping some of them get jobs as well.
Less than 20 percent of fathers in the program say that they had a father who was able to provide for them.
The program typically lasts about four months.
