Rain floods parts of the Bronx
A rainstorm moved through the borough, flooding some streets during the morning commute.
The intersection of Randall and Hollywood avenues in Throgs Neck was one of the places left underwater because fallen wet leaves have clogged the drains. One neighbor even took it upon himself to start cleaning things up.
Everyone should allow extra travel time, especially drivers who will need to take it slow on the slick, wet roads.
News 12 meteorologists say that the rain is tapering off, and will be replaced with muggy air and some sunshine later in the day. Temperatures are also expected to drop.
