Morris Park is emerging as a popular place for young families to settle down, according to a New York Times report.

A 2017 survey shows that the Bronx neighborhood's birth rate has risen to the seventh highest in the city. Before that Morris Park was ranked second to last in that category.

Families in the area say they moved to Morris Park to find an affordable house, a sense of community and a good school for their children.

Statistics from StreetEasy show that house prices in the area rose about 22 percent between 2012 and 2017.
