A Canadian company is reportedly expanding to the Bronx.
McInnis Cement plans to build a $40 million distribution warehouse along the East River in Port Morris, according to published reports.
The company also wants to build a pedestrian pathway on the waterfront at Oak Point Avenue and 149th Street. The site is currently used for a number of industrial companies.
Developers are expected to break ground by the end of the summer in order to have the plant up and running by the end of next year.
