Republican Fred Camillo wins first selectman race in Greenwich

Republican lawmaker Fred Camillo has won the race for first selectman in Greenwich, replacing longtime First Selectman Peter Tesei.
He was running against Democrat Jill Oberlander. Tesei did not seek re-election.
Camillo's family has lived in town for four generations.
He has been state representative for the 151st District for the last six terms and has held a number of positions in Greenwich town government.
Camillo served on Greenwich's Representative Town Meeting from 1995 to 2001 and was chairman of the Greenwich Board of Parks & Recreation from 2000 to 2002.
