Residents demand city fix potholes on Old Kingsbridge Road
Residents say potholes on Old Kingsbridge Road are causing headaches - and possible health risks.
Last year, News 12 reported that residents had been unsuccessful in trying to urge the city to fix the unmapped street, which they say is a bumpy and unpaved road with major potholes.
Residents say there are even more potholes now than there were last year and have taken matters into their own hands, trying to patch up the potholes themselves using drywall and gravel.
They say the potholes could cause possible health risks, especially after it rains and the potholes are filled with water and attract mosquitoes.
Despite their efforts, residents say the potholes keep coming back.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Transportation to get an update on the pothole repairs, but has not yet heard back.
