The Kingsbridge explosion site continues to be treated as a crime scene, with several roads still blocked off.
Residents on West 234 Street say they are starting to feel the impact of the investigation because as Con Edison and NYPD crews work, they haven't had gas or hot water.
They say it's been that way since after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when the home exploded, killing FDNY Chief Michael Fahy and injuring 20 others.
Officials say they found a drug operation with pot plants inside the home.
Neighbors say they're hoping crews can get things back to normal because they currently can't cook or shower, and some can't take their cars out.
It's unclear when gas and hot water will be turned back on. It's also unclear when the roads will reopen.
