Mayor Eric Adams on Friday announced the revised Medallion Relief Program for New York City taxi drivers.
The program provided over a thousand taxi drivers with $225 million in debt relief.
The revised plan was a collaboration between Marblegate Asset Management and the New York Taxi Workers Alliance.
"Our New York City taxi drivers are iconic,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “They are a huge integral part of our city, but they are an icon of the United States."
