A tour bus stopped at White Plains High School on Thursday to deliver thousands of masks to essential workers.
The idea is being dubbed the Million Mask Challenge. A 26-foot truck delivered critical PPE to 11 rotary districts and thousands of Rotarians across the Northeast.
District Governor Mary Shackleton of Rotary International District 7230 distributed 300,000 masks in Westchester County and throughout New York City.
"These masks are going to go to some of the underserved communities, food pantries, public housing,” says Shackleton. “So that the people who really need them, have protection."
The tour ends Thursday night. Distributors have traveled more than 700 miles through 14 cities within four days.
