An 18-year-old Bronx student accused of killing one classmate and wounding another in a stabbing waived his right to appear in court Tuesday, causing outrage among family and friends of the victims.

Abel Cedeno is charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the stabbing that killed 15-year-old Matthew McCree and injured 16-year-old Ariane Laboy. The teens were stabbed during a history lesson at the Urban Assembly School For Wildlife Conservation.

"He has to show. I will have to see him eventually," said Louna Dennis, McCree’s mother.

A grand jury will hear what happened in the classroom leading up to the stabbing. Cedeno is expected to testify before the jury.

Prosecutors say Cedeno purchased a switchblade online two weeks before the incident. Cedeno's family says he was the target of relentless bullying at school.

Cedeno is being held without bail. He's due back in court Oct. 17.
