New Jersey SEA LIFE, the aquarium coming to American Dream in East Rutherford, is scheduled to open April 23.
The announcement comes as the aquarium made a new construction milestone Wednesday – the filling of its water tanks with nearly 250,000 gallons of water.
The aquarium will have replicas of some of the most iconic buildings in Manhattan inside the huge tank, where more than 3,000 creatures will be on display.
The aquarium unveiled its "City Under the Sea" theme back in December, which will feature 10 interactive exhibits. It will be geared to children from 3 to 10 years old. A typical visit will last around two hours.
Admission will cost $21 for children and $26 for adults. Annual passes will start around $70.
