Sen. Bailey urges suit donations for parolees
The group 100 Suits for 100 Men collects new and gently worn suits on behalf of released prisoners, so they have something to wear on job interviews.
State Sen. Jamal Bailey visited Wakefield Thursday to solicit suit donations for the main shop at the parole office in Queens.
The group even has its own in-house tailor, Monique Wiggins.
"They think they look good, which they do," she says. "Because I can't let them go out looking crazy, and it's just really good."
People interested in donating suits can visit the state Senate's District 36 office in the Bronx.
