Sen. Chuck Schumer says the Federal Aviation Administration is breaking its promise to keep air traffic employees' jobs on Long Island.
The plan would relocate over 30 TRACON workers from Uniondale to Philadelphia.
Schumer says that would go against their 2020 promise to keep TRACON employees on Long Island while they restructured staffing and the airspace operations of Newark.
The senator says he's been on the phone for over a week to try and fix the issue.
