With just days to go until Christmas, shoppers were out on Arthur Avenue on Saturday to pick up all of their holiday essentials.

David Grecco's family has been part of the fabric of the historic street for close too 100 yeas. Dozens were waiting in line at his deli on Saturday.

Shoppers came from near and far to pick up Italian specialties for their holiday tables. People were flocking to Teitel Brothers, Madonia Bakery and other community staples.

And tomorrow marks the one Sunday a year that all the shops stay open, so last-minute crowds can pick up their own piece of Little Italy for the holidays.
