For nearly 30 years, hundreds of senior citizens say they struggled to walk down a hole-filled Clinton Avenue sidewalk with walkers and canes.
However, within a few days after a News 12 investigative report, the street was fixed.
Residents of the Twin Parks East Senior Citizen Center say they were forced to dodge the craters and uneven sidewalks for decades.
Some residents say that they think snow and salt is going to break down the sidewalk and return it to its former, dangerous state.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Transportation for comment on other sidewalks, but has not yet heard back.
