A skimming device was found on an ATM in the Bronx, and police are looking for at least three suspects connected to placing it, according to investigators.
The device was discovered an ATM at the TD Bank on Westchester Avenue on May 14.
Police say information was stolen from at least 17 customers between May 15 and May 16.
The three suspects used the customers’ information to withdraw money from their accounts, however, police did not say how much money was stolen.
Investigators say they believe the three suspects, two men and a woman, are also connected to a citywide skimming device ring which spans to three other banks in Brooklyn.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspects.
