Soccer prospect pulls out of verbal agreement to Rutgers because of vaccine mandate

A promising women’s soccer player has pulled her verbal commitment to Rutgers due to the school’s mandate for all students to receive the coronavirus vaccine before returning to campus in the fall.
Faith Slimmer, an Ocean County High School graduate, has decided not to play for the Scarlett Knights.
Slimmer will now be attending the College of Charleston.
Rutgers University has not commented.
