The early childhood education students of St. Joseph's School for the Deaf pedaled for proceeds in their very first Trike-A-Thon Friday.
About two dozen students participated in the event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Donations help the organization provide families with free treatment, travel, food or housing.
Organizers say the event helps teach the youngsters about giving back.
"Disability doesn't matter,” says organizer Candy Harbison. “There are no limitations.”
