Stamford police say a group of three officers became the first to put their anti-overdose training from last year into practice.
Police say the trio was called to the east side of the city where a 35-year-old man was slumped over the wheel of his car.
The officers quickly determined the man was overdosing and administered Narcan.
Sources say the man was revived and talking in a matter of minutes and taken to the hospital.
