A stolen van belonging to a Christian church in the Bronx was miraculously returned to its rightful owner, according to police.
The van was stolen on Jan. 12 from the Christian Church in Norwood.
Pastor James Miller says after working with police for more than a week, the church was reunited with its 1997 Dodge Minivan, which the organization uses to drive elderly members to congregation and bible studies. Miller says they also use the van to drop off donations to soup kitchens in the Bronx.
They say the van was discovered with no backseats or steering column in Clason Point in Soundview.
But Miller says he's just happy to have his van back.
