Chance of evening storms; scorching temps for NYC midweek

New York City is looking at a possible heat wave beginning on Tuesday. 
First up, some pop-up storms could hit the city this evening.
The city will see a high of 91 on Tuesday with feels-like temperatures around 96. In the morning, it will begin to clear and dry out, giving relief from Tropical Storm Henri. It will be hot and humid with plenty of sunshine. 
WEDNESDAY: For a second day in a row there will be a high of 91, with the feel-like temperatures a bit lower around 92 degrees. It will be another dry, summer-like day going into Thursday. Lows around 76.
THURSDAY: Temperatures continue to rise with a high of 93 with feel-like temperatures between 92 and 96 degrees. Today is a Weather to Watch day with possible thunderstorms scattered across the tri-state area. High of 93, lows around 78.
FRIDAY: The chance for thunderstorms are even greater today. There will be a temperature drop between Friday and Saturday due to a potential cold front coming through the area. Highs around 90, lows near 70.
