44th Precinct officers save unconscious child

A 3-year-old boy is in stable condition after NYPD officers rushed the unconscious child to a hospital Monday, according to authorities.
The 44th Precinct officers say the boy's father rushed into the back of the police building in a panic. They performed CPR, but it did not appear to be helping.
"I immediately thought of my son and realized we had to do something," says Sgt. Jason Isaia. "We had to get this child to the hospital immediately."
So police say they put the boy in a patrol car, told the father to sit in the back and shut down traffic to rush the child to Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
He began responding again after hospital personal began working on him.
