Reports: NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton set to resign today

New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton is reportedly set to resign today.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is expected to hold a press conference this afternoon. It is unclear if he will address Bratton's reported resignation.

Reports of Bratton's resignation come after groups demanded he step down amid stressed relations between the NYPD and the public.

Chief of Department James P. O'Neill is rumored to be replacing Bratton.
