Multiple people were injured in three separate stabbings overnight, police say.

They say the first incident happened around 10 p.m. Saturday when a 27-year-old man was slashed and stabbed in Pelham Bay Park.

Police also say at around 4 a.m., they received a call after three people were slashed on Bryant Avenue.

An hour later, officials say a man who was carrying three knives began stabbing people as he walked near Ogden Avenue and West 164th Street.

News 12 is told four victims were hospitalized with numerous stab wounds.

Police say the 48-year-old suspect was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.
