Bronx Mas Camp readies for West Indian American Day parade

The West Indian American Day parade in Brooklyn is just around the corner, and the Bronx Mas Camp is gearing up for the annual celebration.

The camp will be participating in the parade for the 10th straight year. The camp's participation in the parade allows kids to connect with their Caribbean ancestors.

Special head pieces to be worn in the parade that are flown in from Trinidad are being prepared for campers to wear during the Labor Day weekend parade.
