A 5-month-old baby died in the Bronx after the child's mother left her alone with her 13-year-old sister while out at the pharmacy, police say. It happened Wednesday night in a second-floor bedroom

5-month-old baby dies while being watched by sister in the Bronx
A 5-month-old baby died in the Bronx after the child's mother left her alone with her 13-year-old sister while out at the pharmacy, police say.
It happened Wednesday night in a second-floor bedroom of a home on E. 174th Street near St. Lawrence Avenue in Parkchester.
Police say they found 5-month old Jayline Cervantes unconscious inside the home and rushed her to Jacobi Medical Center where she later died.
The city medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
