Street renamed to honor NYPD chaplain

Community members gathered Saturday to honor a terminally ill NYPD chaplain.
Reverend Luis Serrano was honored by getting a street renamed after him.
Chatterton Avenue is now also known as Reverend Luis F. Serrano Way.
Serrano, who suffers from pancreatic cancer, served as chaplain for the 43rd Precinct for many years.
Those attending the ceremony say Serrano is a vital part of the community.
