Morris Park gathers for 2nd annual food festival

The Morris Park community came out to enjoy the second annual Taste of Morris Park Food Festival Saturday afternoon.

Throughout the day, nearly 10 restaurants sold a variety of home-style favorites from ravioli, pasta and pizza to a Colombian mix of classic empanadas.

There were also options for those wanting to eat healthier.

The event in Loreto Park was sponsored by Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj and state Sen. Jeff Klein as an effort to continue supporting local businesses in the area.
