Community worried over speeding cars at busy intersection

Parents and community leaders have grown concerned about drivers speeding through a busy intersection in Fordham.
Luis Santiago has been a crossing guard for 15 years and says he's seen a variety of bad behavior from behind the wheel by the intersection at West 195th Street and Jerome Avenue.
He says that the intersection needs cameras and more signs warning drivers to slow down.
The location is also near two schools, and parents say the turning cars are a big concern.
"They don't wait for you to cross," says Crissy, a parent near the area. "They are rushing and honking their horns."
The city's Department of Transportation says it installed a traffic signal at the intersection of 197th Street and Reservoir Avenue during the summer. Officials say they have not received any complaints about safety in that area since installation.
