Suspect accused of robbing man inside Bronx check-cashing business

Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a man of cash after a struggle inside a cash-checking business in the Bronx. 



It happened on Sept. 30 at 12:25 p.m. inside the Check Cashing Place on Jerome Avenue.



Police say the suspect approached a 54-year-old man and tried to take $60 from his hand.



According to a police report, the victim fought to hold onto his money, but the suspect took it and ran away.



The suspect is described as being 40 years old and was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket and black pants. 



Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
