Bronx school gets state-of-the-art music lab

A Bronx school is tuning in to the creative needs of their students by installing a state-of-the-art music lab.
The One World Middle School in Baychester recently installed the new lab.
Pete Pauliks, a school official who helped introduce the lab, says the classroom is equipped with 32 Apple computers, and each station has a 61-note electronic keyboard with an audio interface that allows for recording.
Teacher Patricia Wynne says the music lab also helps connect students with work in their other classes and inspires creativity.
The lab was built with the help of grants and Education Through Music, which promotes and creates music programs in city schools.
