Map shows calories used walking instead of riding subway

A British health care website has mapped out New York's entire subway system and calculated how many calories people could burn by walking from one stop to the next.
From Castle Hill to Parkchester, for example, a commuter could burn 49 calories. If they walked the whole way from Castle Hill to St. Lawrence Avenue, they'd burn 85 calories.
Some residents said the information was useful, but others said they'd stick to the rails.
The citywide map was created by Treated.com, a British-based health care website.
