Rain, expected to clear up Friday; cool temps remain

Cold, rainy weather made for a messy evening commute Thursday.
Traffic did not appear to be too bad, but many commuters were walking with umbrellas or driving slow.
The rain is expected to clear up overnight, giving way to a cool, breezy Friday with highs in the mid-50s, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Friday night will remain partly cloudy as temperatures drop into the mid-40s.
Forecasts show another chance of showers beginning Saturday night and throughout Sunday.
