Artists upbeat about their work being stepped on

Pedestrians are stepping on the dreams of a pair of Bronx artists who say that's a good thing.
Clark Fly ID and Laura Alvarez are responsible for colorful murals on some of the borough's step streets.
They won a contest sponsored by ArtBridge, a nonprofit that focuses on art in New York City.
Their work includes stitches painted at Henwood Place and Walton Avenue to represent the neighborhood's history of manual labor, and another piece at 176th Street and Jerome Avenue that says "I Love the Bronx."
They say it was a challenge to paint on the steps but also an incredible experience.
