While some Bronx residents were at home preparing their Thanksgiving feast many others were out at the grocery store picking up some last minute things Thursday afternoon.
Some residents told News 12 they were picking up Thanksgiving staples like cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and collard greens.
Others said they were picking up forgotten items needed for cooking like extra vegetable oil.
Some Bronx grocery stores say they will be staying open past midnight to accommodate these last-minute shoppers.
