Morris Park ceremony recognizes Bronx veterans

Morris Park recognized Veterans Day with its annual ceremony honoring troops from The Bronx.
Organizers say the neighborhood has held the ceremony for more than 30 years at the Rudy Macina Peace Memorial Plaza on Pelham Parkway. Dozens attended this year and sang the national anthem as a wreath was laid in honor of those who lost their lives at war.
Veterans at the ceremony say while they appreciate the celebration, they will take this day to remember their friends who paid the ultimate price for freedom.
