Police: 2 young missing brothers found

Police say the two young brothers who went missing in the Bronx Friday night have been found.

The exact circumstances were not immediately available, but police say they are safe and have been returned to their home.

Mekhi and Michael White, ages 10 and 12, had gone missing after an argument with their mother. Police say that after the argument, their mother left to go to the store and told her sons to wait in the lobby of their Castle Hill Avenue apartment building.

When she returned, they were gone.

They say the boys then knocked on a neighbor's door in the building and asked to spend some time there, but the neighbor said no.

It's unclear where the boys were.
