Commuters are dealing with several delays on the Major Deegan Expressway as drivers swerve around a massive pothole.
The crater, which is about a foot deep, is located near Exit 9 on the southbound side of the roadway, right near the Fordham Road overpass. It's in the middle lane, forcing cars to zig-zag their way around it.
The city says a work order has been submitted for the hole, but an estimate on how long it will take to fix it is not available.
You can report a pothole problem in your neighborhood on the Department of Transportation website or by calling 311.
