Revelers enjoy Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day Parade

A sea of green filled the streets of Throgs Neck today for the community's 17th annual St. Patrick's Day parade.

The parade featured 21 bands and at least 50 organizations.

"We have a certain way of life, and it's this time of the year where we give back," parade founder James McQuade said of The Bronx's Irish community.

The parade was organized by the Throgs Neck Benevolent Association.
