Cop accused of raping teen girl in the Bronx

A police officer from the Bronx is accused of raping a teenage girl.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Vladimir Sosa sexually assaulted the 16-year-old victim on three different occasions last April inside his eighth-floor apartment at the Bronx River Houses.
Officials say he's also a pastor at the church that the victim attends.
Neighbors say Sosa lives with his mother and rarely had visitors. One neighbor added that even though she never saw him in his NYPD uniform, Sosa was a protective presence on her floor.
Sosa has been charged with rape, two counts of criminal sexual acts, sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
He has been suspended by the NYPD without pay and is due back in court next month.
