Public advocate checks in on city's worst landlords

Public advocate Letitia James is checking in on landlords six months after releasing her watch list naming the city's worst.
The report, which mainly focused on the Bronx, Brooklyn and Harlem, was released last October. The Bronx came in second for the worst landlords, with a laundry list of complaints from tenants. The issues ranged from mold to broken elevators.
James returned to 888 Grand Concourse Wednesday, which ranked seventh on the list. She says that while tenants are still dealing with mold and leaky ceilings, there has been an overall improvement.
James says her progress report will be released soon.
